Here are some of my favorite poems..... Take the Chance I'm so tired of hiding my secret away from you. What can I do, To make you look this way at me. And say what I always knew About me and you. Can I finally say, What I've been hiding within For all this time, This is what it's always been [Because. . . We could take the chance, Try and take the risk, Or stand it alone And never know what we missed.] Can I finally tell what I've been so scared to say. Can I trust my heart, Can I look in your eyes and tell you this day. Or will you remain in the dark, Of what could be. Will you find the truth If you search within you heart? Can I risk the chance, Or will we stay apart [Because. . . We could take the chance, Try and take the risk. Or stand it alone And never know what we missed.] Is our time running out? If only I could say the truth, Then this could be ours. And I promise you; I would stay true to you. Because, did you know There would be no life without you, I would cry for you And I wouldn't know what to do. I know I need to show you my heart, Tell you what you need to know. And give in to the part Of me that says. . . [[Give us a chance to start What has been here all along, Because we know that this feeling Could never be wrong.]] Please, don't prove me wrong By saying you don't care To lie to me Would just be too unfair.
